Many times customers are surprised to find that we stock or can special order “big city” items for them. We listen to our customers. They are our biggest asset in finding out what’s new and exciting in the pet world. So let us know what you are looking for when you come to our shop.
Recently we have increased our reptile products department. We stock live and freeze dried crickets and mealworms, nutritional supplements, substrates, heat and light sources and other accessories, and we have very competitive prices. We sell pinkies, fuzzies, hoppers, mice and rats, and we can even special order frozen rodents for you.
We receive our tropical fish order once a week. Tracey is our Fish Department Manager, and she is available Monday through Friday to help you with questions, problems and orders. We sell freeze dried food, frozen food, tanks, medications, water treatments, and accessories for all you hobbyists.
We sell, based on availability, canaries, finches, parakeets and cockatiels. Right now we have a pair of cockatiels showing an interest in breeding. Leilani has set up a “tiel cam” so we can monitor their behavior while giving them their privacy. We stock food, treats, vitamins and supplements, toys, spray millet and everything else for our feathered companions.
We also sell dog sweaters and coats, and we have recently added purse-style pet carriers to our inventory. We are also bursting at the seams with the most adorable Christmas toys and stockings you can stuff yourself. We are expecting some new collars, leashes and harnesses in designer colors, including camoflage. We also have a nice selection of boutique-style ceramic pet bowls. The bowls would make a cute holiday gift filled with biscuits for the dog lover in your life, or filled with candy as a hostess gift.

*Fun Fact: Cathy once delivered a goldfish and a card to a young man in Fort Bragg from his girlfriend who was out of state at the time. She was inviting him to prom. We don’t know what his answer was, but we all agreed it was very fun and very romantic!
